Dr. Tia Madison is an award-winning actor, director, playwright, and educator. She holds a Doctorate of Education in Curriculum and Instruction, a Master of Fine Arts in Theater, Film, and Television, and a Bachelor of Arts in Speech Communication.

 

For the past 22 years, she has taught Theater and Communication Studies across colleges and universities in Northern and Southern California.

 

Dr. Madison has shared her talents in such performances as Tosca, Carmen, For Colored Girls, Black Nativity, Hurly-Burly, Henry V, American Daughter, and Porgy and Bess.

 

She has performed on stages all over the world including performances on the continents of Africa, Asia, and Europe.

 

Dr. Madison is currently Communications Professor and Communications Program Coordinator at Napa Valley College in Napa, CA.
